Seven entries for the 5th TANNER University Competition

The deadline submissions for the 5th TANNER University Competition was at the end of March. One of the requirements of the task was a concept for the development of graphics-guided programming for an automatic coffee machine. Seven teams have submitted their solutions to the task set by Franke Coffee Systems. From those, six teams included students from the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and one team was from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover. On 21 April, a professional jury will evaluate the suggested solutions and determine a winner.

In addition to company representatives from Franke Coffee Systems, ALSTOM (Schweiz) AG, HILTI Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH and Dethleffs GmbH & Co. KG, an expert from TANNER also completes the jury. The winning team will then be announced on 18 May at the awards ceremony on the evening before the DOKU-FORUM 2011.
