A team from Aalen College has won the 11th TANNER college and university competition. Chris-Norman Roth, Christian Krause, Moritz Miller and Fabian Wurmbrand impressed the jury of industry representatives with their “configuration tool”, a settings assistant for a material handling machine.
All participants were honoured at the prize-giving ceremony on 17 May at the Angelika Kauffmann Hall in Schwarzenberg (Austria) during DOKU-FORUM 2017.
The competition’s industry partner this year was Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH, based in Kirchdorf an der Iller. It set the student teams a task on the subject of “Digital test instructions”. Eight student teams with a total of 26 students from colleges in Aalen, Aschaffenburg, Karlsruhe and Munich took part and designed multi-media setting instructions.
