TANNER AG can now count itself among the best employers in Germany. In the competition run by the Great Place to Work initiative, the company received an award in the category of companies with 101 to 250 employees. TANNER thus tops last year’s result as one of the best employers in Bavaria.
Employer attractiveness rated by staff
The award was preceded by an anonymous survey of TANNER AG employees conducted last autumn. They were asked to give their opinions on key workplace issues such as trust in management, quality of cooperation, appreciation, identification with the company, career development opportunities, remuneration, health promotion and work-life balance.
The Trust Index, the average score resulting from all questions, and the overall assessment show that employee satisfaction has once again significantly improved compared with the previous year. The overall assessment is summed up by the comment, “All in all, I can say this is a very good place to work.”. 92% of respondents were in agreement here. This positive trend extends across all aspects of the survey: In terms of “Credibility”, “Respect”, “Fairness”, “Pride” And “Team Spirit”, employees rated the company as “excellent” in almost all cases. This puts TANNER in the top 5% of all participating employers.
For Stefan Kügel, board member of TANNER AG, this result is proof that the initiatives of the past year have paid off. “We have taken the suggestions from the last competition as an opportunity to further improve TANNER as an employer. In particular, health promotion measures such as height-adjustable desks were very well received by staff.”
Close to the needs of customers
As a service provider for technical communication, TANNER AG focuses on quality and customer orientation. The fact that employees share this aspiration is reflected in the evaluation of the additional questions on “Performance and Customer”. Here too, staff rated the company as “excellent”. The employees confirmed for example that they recommend its services and products to others, that they see TANNER as being close to the needs of its customers and that they are prepared to go that extra mile in their work.
“Great Start!” certification as a training company
TANNER is also a “Great Place to Work” for trainees, as confirmed by the award of additional “Great Start!” certification. The feedback from eleven trainees and a survey on the company training concept (Culture Review) were used here as evaluation criteria. “We are very pleased about the unanimous approval of the statement that TANNER is a very good training company,” says Stefan Kügel. “We also want to maintain this high level of satisfaction for the future. That is why development of our corporate culture remains on the agenda.”
